نامه به مدیر کل صندوق بین المللی پول و ترجمه فارسی آن نامه زیربا امضای آقایان مهندس سحابی، دکتر صدر و دکتر یزدی برای مدیر کل صندوق بین المللی پول ارسال شده است.
Mr. Dominique Strauss-Kahn Dear Mr. Strauss-Kahn: Your attention is called to the attached documents addressed to His Excellency Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Prime Minister of Turkey in reference to confiscation of $18.5 billion in Turkey in June 2008. In accordance with these documents the confiscated resources belong to Iran and the Iranian people, and must be returned to Iran. These documents demonstrate that the said amount is being stored in the Central Bank of Turkey. Most certainly, the IMF must reflect the source of these funds in the Balance of Payments accounts of Turley in the annual consultation report. Your attention is called to the attached documents addressed to His Excellency Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Prime Minister of Turkey in reference to confiscation of $18.5 billion in Turkey in June 2008. In accordance with these documents the confiscated resources belong to Iran and the Iranian people, and must be returned to Iran. These documents demonstrate that the said amount is being stored in the Central Bank of Turkey. While the personal information of the individual who allegedly claimed the funds, as reflected in the attached documents, is known, the real owner of these funds is the Iranian people. We hope that at some point in the future these funds will be returned to Iran. In the meantime, we expect that all reports and documents on the economy of Turkey issued by the IMF would reflect the true source of these funds. We look forward to your response.
